Dear Family and Friends,
It is with bittersweet pride that we share the news with you that we have started a foundation in memory of Tim. For several years, we wondered how best to honor Tim’s life and to keep his memory alive for us and for the people who knew and loved him. A charitable foundation seemed to be the best way.
The TBW Foundation is set up for us to make donations to charitable organizations that have 501(c)3 tax status. Our vision is that we make donations via the Foundation to organizations that we believe Tim would have cared about and would have supported in his adult life. For example, the Foundation is supporting a fundraiser for the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, where he adopted his beloved cat Dre.
We also want to make donations to organizations that his family or friends are involved with or raising money for. Tim would have wanted to champion his family and friends in his adult life, and we are hoping that the TBW Foundation can be a proxy for that kind of support. So if you are raising money for an organization or have an organization that you regularly support with your time and talent, let us know.
May the memory of our remarkable, beloved son and brother live on through the TBW Foundation.
