Timothy Brian White was born on November 28, 1994. He lived his first few years in Falls Church, Virginia, and then in Fairfax, Virginia. Tim attended Laurel Ridge Elementary School and then Robinson Secondary School where he graduated with a full IB diploma and swam on the state championship swim team. He also was involved with the student newspaper at Robinson – Valor Dictus.
He loved the Kings Ridge Swim Club where he began competing at age 7, coached the team for several years; and dressed as the club mascot the “Water Wizard” many times.
After high school, Tim attended the University of Delaware where he had double majors in Political Science and Public Policy. After graduating from the University of Delaware, he enrolled in American University’s Washington College of Law. He loved his many friends at UD and his Manuel Street family, where he lived for two years. He was proud to attend the Washington College of Law and excited about beginning a career in the legal profession.
Tim was passionate about many things including politics,
criminal justice reform, Harry Potter, Washington sports teams and his loving cat Dre.
Although Tim had a great childhood, he also faced many challenges. He was born with a tethered cord
and had 4 back surgeries before he was 12, including the first one at six months old. He was diagnosed with epilepsy after his first year of law school and shortly before his death he learned that he had to undergo another spinal surgery. Not many people knew how deeply these conditions affected him.
Timothy White died on February 27, 2019 surrounded by his parents and brother. Despite his short life, Tim was a bright star for many people. His spirit lives on through his parents Sarah and Brian; his brother Chris; his aunts, uncles and cousins; his King Park West and Kings Ridge neighbors; his friends from Robinson; his Manuel Street family and loyal friends from the University of Delaware and his classmates from the American University Washington College of Law.
